Romans 4:20-22

Today's verses are setting us up for tomorrow's. However, there are some great things to pull out of these. Abraham was chosen by God out of ALL the people in the world (at the time) to become God’s chosen people. Obviously God saw something in him. God’s whole reason for choosing a family was to get ready for Jesus. God planned that a long time ago knowing Adam & Eve would exercise their free will.

According to our verses, Abraham believed without wavering, was strong in his faith, he was righteous, and he believed God would keep His promises. No wonder God chosen him, huh?

I’m so thankful that God loved us so much even way back then to prepare a way so we could individually have our own relationship with Him. Don’t you think that’s amazing?
