Romans 1:1-4

Without Jesus’ death, burial, AND resurrection, there wouldn't be any Good News! We know that some of the New Testament is letters to churches. Paul had met Jesus on the road to Damascus and Jesus radically changed his life. Paul was a Pharisee. He was literally jailing and killing Christians simply because they believed that Good News.

The Israelite people have been around a REALLY long time. They had always done life by God’s Commands to Moses. Jesus was so different that it scared them. In my opinion, not only was He fulfilling the law, but He one up'd it too!

We saw Jesus resurrect Lazarus the past few days, but there is a difference. Lazarus just received his old body back. He still got sick and eventually he died again, never to return. Jesus died, rose again, but had a resurrected body. (Not only did He return, but it was about a year after He ascended to Heaven that He encountered Paul then Saul.) He had scars and ate food, but He could get in a room with locked doors too. I know one thing, I can’t wait to have a body with no pain or sickness. What about you?
