Psalm 118:8-10

Refuge is defined as “shelter or protection from danger, trouble, etc.” The writer is telling us it’s better to go to God for protection and trust Him, instead of humans. For years now, if I’m ever alone somewhere and start to feel afraid, I pray for God to put angels with me. I ask Him to let them look like big strong men in case someone intends to hurt me, that way they will leave me alone. I believe He answers that prayer every time I ask.

Speaking from experience, humans WILL let you down! You know the ones that are supposed to love you unconditionally, yeah them. Or the Government office or official that you thought would do whatever but didn’t? People are human and not God. The really cool thing about God is He knows our future. That’s just one reason we can trust Him. People don’t know. They honestly have don’t have power either. God knows all, sees all, and is trustworthy!

Is there an area of your life that you struggle trusting Him with?
