John 17:17-19

The entire chapter of John 17 is Jesus praying to God the Father. In our verses He is talking about sending the disciples out.

It’s hard to trust a liar, isn’t it? I mean the first time you really might not have expected it, so you believe them & low and behold, they lie again! It doesn’t take long for trust to leave the relationship.

Yesterday we learned that God can’t lie. Isn’t that awesome!? God’s Word is truth. Jesus Himself is truth. (John 14:6) We can trust ALL of it! His Word, Jesus, & God are all trustworthy because of their character that has been revealed through Scripture. We also know what God has done in our lives & the lives of those we love. Testimonies of His trustworthiness will build your faith quickly!

Is there anything you are trusting God for that you’d like me to join you in prayer about? Get in touch with me. I will pray!
