Jeremiah 17:7-8

What an amazing picture of what trusting God is like! Compare it to yesterday’s verse of shrubs that can’t really grow in the desert & you can really see a great example of what trusting God can do for you.

Placing our hope & confidence in God is not a bad thing. It’s worth it because we can literally flourish when we trust Him. We shouldn't be “just getting by” in life. Life will never be “perfect” this side of Heaven, but it can be an amazing adventure with the LORD.

Trees on river banks don't have to wonder where their water will come from. This is where confidence comes in. They constantly have what they need to thrive & by trusting God, we do too!
