Romans 5: 3-5

Life is not always easy. Even when things are good, we can still have an issue that nags at us. We live in a fallen sinful world, with an enemy, & our own sinful nature. Those 3 things will cause us trials. Even though it’s hard to think about, when you look back, you can see how you made it and WHO helped you through.

God DOES NOT cause the bad negative things we go through. He loves us & He can’t give us something He doesn’t have. God doesn’t give people cancer or genetic diseases. He didn’t create COVID or the flu & send it to earth to “teach humans a lesson”. If you think that, you have the WRONG idea of who He is!

We are loved so much that God gave us free will knowing we would go against His wishes. He allows us to make mistakes, sometimes, so that we can learn from them. His love for us is so huge that I don’t think we will understand it this side of Heaven. As Paul says, God gave us the Holy Spirit to fill o ur hearts with His love. If you aren’t feeling His love, stop, get quiet & tell Him that. See what happens.
