Ephesians 3:16-18

I pray Paul’s prayer for spiritual growth over us today! We have power & authority because the Holy Spirit lives in us. I believe this is an IF/THEN promise. Verse 16 wants us to realize our unlimited resources & power from the Holy Spirit. THEN, verse 17 says Christ WILL make His home in our hearts. But one more TINY detail- we must trust Him. (By the way, I’m spilling the news, per Sherry’s suggestion, we are writing on trust next month.)

After we do this, loving God, trusting Him, knowing where our power comes from, our roots will grow in God’s love. I think that simply means we will grow closer to God & be strong in our faith. Even though we might not fully understand on this side of Heaven, we can see how HUGE God’s love is for His children.
