John 5:28-30

This month, we have several times where we will write out of the same book days in a row. Some are in order, others aren’t, but all together it's really good Scripture.

Today is Jesus talking. It’s just a few verses after yesterday. I’m not sure if Jesus is talking about when He died on the cross that we wrote about on day 1, or if this is His 2nd coming that hasn’t happened yet. I’m leaning more towards His 2nd coming. No matter the timing you believe of His return, He WILL return!

While our bodies will be the only thing in the grave, God will reunite our soul/spirit in Heaven with that body so that we have a resurrected body like Jesus. I don’t know what all that entails, but after His resurrection, Jesus had a physical body that people saw & touched. At some point, we will have that type of resurrected body too.
