Ephesians 2:4-6

Chapter 2 of Ephesians is titled, “Made Alive In Christ” in my Bible. Paul is saying that we were once all dead because of sin and disobedience. Because of that, we were subject to God’s anger. BUT GOD!! Don’t you just love the “BUT GOD’S” of the Bible? I do! God’s love for us is so huge that He planned a way to reconcile us to Himself a LONG time ago.

It's because of love that we have the opportunity to be in relationship with Him. I saw a video last night of a guy talking about that we aren’t “building” a relationship with God. We are responding to His love- just like we do with humans we know. (Thanks to my cousin Danielle who shared that.)

God’s kindness, grace, love, & mercy are what draws us to Him. Believing in Jesus's death, burial, & resurrection is the way to salvation.
