1 Peter 3:7-8
I wrote the wrong verses yesterday & just realized it. I’m sorry!
The beginning of chapter 3 is all about wives. It’s not until verse 7 & only that 1 verse that Peter is talking to husbands.(In this chapter.) I didn’t intend this to be a jab at men nor did I want any of you single ladies to get upset. I wanted to point out in general, God made us weaker. Can we still do almost anything? Yes! BUT He purposely designed men & women differently. Just a huge side note here- if a husband is mistreating his wife, his prayers WILL BE hindered. This part doesn’t use the word love, but it’s implied.
As for believers of every race, gender, & nationality, we should love them as brothers & sisters. I am an only child so at times, I didn’t understand this. But the more I’ve learned & the closer I got to some of my friends who are like sisters, the easier the concept became. God is our Father. We are His children, therefore, we should love as only He loves. Unconditionally & without judgement. You know that old saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.”? We can’t see hearts, but God can. We should love & get to know people so that we can get through life together.
