1 John 4:15-16

Starting at verse 7, my Bible is titled “Loving One Another”. I know we wrote about love last month, but trust goes hand in hand with love, sometimes, doesn’t it? I mean you CAN still love someone but not trust them. However, when that happens, the love usually goes away.

When you declare Jesus as who He is, and you live for Him, love & trust are both there. Some people still struggle with that. We tend to equate love & trust by getting what we ask for. That’s not how God’s love works.

I don't think we even realize just HOW MUCH God loves us. This can keep us from getting closer to Him & trusting Him fully. When we listen to people’s stories of what God has done for them, it builds our faith and trust. Use that as a practice if you need to. You can literally search for video testimonies & watch them if you want to.

God is trustworthy! Thankfully, He gave us a whole book to reference and learn from.
