1 John 4: 7-8

This is our anchor for the month. God is love.

We have reduced love to a feeling or emotion. We say it all the time. “I love pizza.” “I love that song.” “I love you.” We tend to over use it if we are honest. I think we must stop & really think for a minute.

God is a Spirit. He isn’t a human. He loves because He IS love. Our simple human minds can’t really wrap our brains around it, but it’s true. God is REAL love. Once we are living for Him, getting to know Him, understand our identity in Him, love changes for us. Child like love & trust follows as we grow spiritually.

Then we can love others like He does. We see people like He does. I hope this month on love inspires & encourages you.
