Romans 8:34-35 (Read verses 36 & 37)

Nothing can separate us from God’s love. NOTHING. If people have taught you that you are condemned by Jesus because of your sin, I’m sorry. Jesus did NOT condemn the woman caught in the act of adultry. You realize she was possibly nake, right? In front of the whole town, Jesus, and those “religious folk” who dragged her out of the house she was in. Jesus loved her anyway and told her to go and sin no more.

Life can be hard sometimes. We live in a fallen sinful world. We have free will & so does everyone else. Like verse 35 says, even if you go through all of that, it doesn’t mean God stopped loving you. Nothing we can do can make God loves us any less. On the flip side of that, nothing we can do will make God love us any more either. His love is unconditional.
