Psalm 22:4-5

Today’s Psalm is written by David. It is a worship song he wrote. I hope we are blessed in Heaven and allowed to hear what these songs actually sounded like. I’m so curious. Music is so interesting! Sounds do change over time. (I mean you can tell a song from the 1940’s & one from today.) It’s also interesting to me that David who was this strong warrior and killer of the enemy had this soft side of worship song writer. Just shows that God gives us different gifts!

Sometimes to trust God, we have to look back. That’s what David is doing here. Reminding himself & those who ever read or sing this song that their ancestors trusted God and He was there. That gives us hope! Have you ever read through the Torah aka First 5 Books of the Bible? I just did. Now, we are reading Joshua. They really went through A LOT in Egypt and afterwards. They rebelled a lot too, but when they obeyed, God did so much for them. He is the same for us and He CAN BE trusted!
