Proverbs 29:25

Fear is such a weird thing, isn’t it? We can have rational & irrational fears. We can also allow fear to stop us from living if we aren’t careful. I think fear is a spiritual demonic kind of thing too because in 1st Timothy, Paul said God didn’t give us a SPIRIT of fear. (Also, fear was attached to Covid in 2020.)

God wired our bodies with “fight or flight” type responses so that we can either defend ourselves or run. But I also whole heartedly believe in angels who protect us. If I am ever alone walking somewhere & get scared, I ask God to make an Angel with me appear to be a strong man to anyone who wishes to do me harm.

We aren’t perfect, we are going to get afraid sometimes- but we should always know that trusting the LORD means safety. God is safe for us. He is not someone who wants to hurt us. Even if things aren’t going our way, we can trust HIM because He loves us & has our best interests at heart.
